In this reality-competitions series hosted by Marco Pierre White, chefs are tested in a series of challenges for a shot at the grand prize: opening their very own Manhattan restaurant.
Two teams of eight compete in culinary challenges; the first competition pits them against each other to create a menu for the chef to judge by the end of day.
Each team has to create a dish in one hour for Marco; the teams are surprised to learn that every single diner rated their restaurant with a Zagat rating form.
The remaining teams are asked to cater an event for food critic Danyelle Freeman and uptown socialites; the teams must completely remake their restaurant in three days.
