Chris Barrie returns as the manager from Hell. More irritating than ever, Gordon Brittas hasn’t lost his touch for inadvertently aggravating everyone unfortunate enough to cross his path.
When Gordon returns from the dead, he arrives back at the Leisure Centre a day early. Helen also arrives at the Centre, having escaped from a local clinic, to retrieve an incriminating letter, leading to a potentially explosive situation.
A mysterious and unpleasant smelling object strikes the roof, making Colin believe that aliens are running amok in the Centre. Meanwhile, Helen has accidentally sold the family home and needs somewhere to hide the furniture.

The staff are sitting for the annual staff photo. But with a children's party in the swimming pool and Gordons application to make the Centre a listed building, it's taking longer than expected. Meanwhile, Helen has taken up parachuting.
